Short answers about the app, licence, payments, and support.

What happens to my data?

Tool content is processed on your Mac. CodeSwissKnife has no backend, no account system, and no telemetry for what you paste, open, format, decode, or diff.

Does the app ever connect to the internet?

Only when there is a clear reason. The HTTP Client sends requests you write, MCP Inspector Live Connection contacts the endpoint you enter, Sparkle checks for updates, and licence activation contacts Lemon Squeezy. Tool content is not sent for analytics or processing.

How does the free trial work?

You get seven days of actual use, meaning days when you open the app, not calendar days. The trial also has a 60-calendar-day window from first use. Whichever limit is reached first ends the trial. No card and no account are required.

How does the licence work?

The licence is perpetual. You can keep using the version you bought, and the licence never expires. It includes one year of new versions and fixes. After that year, you can keep using your last eligible version.

How many Macs are included?

Basic covers one Mac, Personal covers two Macs, and Business covers five Macs within one organisation. Each Mac uses one activation.

Can I move my licence to another Mac?

Yes. Release an activation inside the app before using that seat on another Mac. If you cannot access the old Mac, contact support and include the email used for the purchase.

How do I manage my order or licence?

Use Lemon Squeezy's order portal: Manage licence. You can also use the link in your receipt email.

I lost my licence key. How do I get it back?

Open Manage licence with the email used for the purchase, or search your email for the Lemon Squeezy receipt. If you still cannot find it, contact support from that purchase email.

Is VAT included?

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. VAT and tax handling depends on your country and is shown during checkout or in the receipt.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee. Use the refund path in your Lemon Squeezy receipt, or contact support@8mobile.org.

Do I need an account?

No. CodeSwissKnife does not require an app account. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, receipts, and licence delivery after purchase.

How are updates delivered?

Updates are delivered in-app through Sparkle. The update check can be switched off, and release downloads are signed.
