Licence agreement
Last updated 10 August 2026 · CodeSwissKnife 2.0.0 build 5
The short version. You buy the app once and it is yours forever. The licence covers a set number of Macs and includes one year of new versions. You may not resell it. There is no subscription and nothing expires on you.
1. What you are buying
A perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use CodeSwissKnife on the number of Macs your tier covers: Basic one Mac, Personal two, Business five within one organisation. Each Mac uses one activation, and you can release an activation at any time from Settings → License to move it to another machine.
2. The licence never expires
The version you have keeps working for as long as you want to run it. No check can take it away, and the app does not stop working when it cannot reach the network.
3. One year of updates
A purchase includes every version released in the twelve months that follow it. After that you keep the last version you were entitled to, forever; a future major version may ask for a discounted renewal. The date is shown inside the app under Settings → License.
4. Trial
Before buying you get seven days of actual use — days on which you open the app, not calendar days — with every tool unlocked, within a window of 60 calendar days from first use. Whichever of the two limits is reached first ends the trial. No card and no account are required. When the trial ends the tools lock, but the AI Developer Library keeps working: what you imported into it is your content, not ours.
5. Refunds
Thirty days, no questions. Write to support@8mobile.org or use the refund path in your Lemon Squeezy receipt.
6. What you may not do
- Share, resell, rent or sublicense your licence key.
- Use one licence beyond the number of Macs it covers.
- Remove or work around the licensing, or redistribute a modified build.
Reverse engineering is permitted where the law of your country grants it regardless of this agreement.
7. Your data
The app processes your content locally and sends none of it anywhere. See the privacy page for the two connections the app makes and why.
8. Warranty and liability
CodeSwissKnife is provided “as is”. It is a developer utility: it transforms text you give it, and you remain responsible for checking the result before relying on it. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence.
9. Termination
The licence ends if you breach these terms. You may stop using the app at any time; a refund follows section 5.
10. Governing law and contact
This agreement is governed by the laws of Switzerland. Questions: support@8mobile.org.
